Pieropan, a name synonymous with exceptional Soave wines, has long been celebrated for its commitment to quality and tradition. The winery’s flagship Soave wines, including the iconic Calvarino and La Rocca (see separate listings in the Club Wine Cellar), are crafted from the Garganega grape, with occasional blends of Trebbiano di Soave. These wines are characterised by their minerality, crisp acidity, and complex flavour profiles, making them ideal for food pairings.
Pieropan Winery has a rich history based on passion, skill, and respect for nature. They keep pushing the limits of winemaking. Their wines capture the true spirit of the Soave region. Located in the heart of the Soave Classico region in the Veneto area of Northeast Italy, the winery enjoys a unique microclimate that contributes to the exceptional quality of its wines.
Founded in 1880 by Leonildo Pieropan, the winery has made great wines for more than 100 years. These wines show the special qualities of the local land. Today, Pieropan Winery is in the hands of the fifth generation of the Pieropan family, with siblings Andrea and Dario Pieropan continuing the family’s tradition of excellence and innovation.
All Pieropan wines have been certified organic from the 2015 vintage.
