Named World Whisky of the Year by acclaimed whisky writer Jim Murray, Uigeadail takes its name from the remote loch whose peat-rich waters flow through the rugged Hebridean landscape surrounding the Ardbeg Distillery on Islay’s wild Atlantic coast.

Bottled at a robust 54.2% ABV and matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, this remarkable whisky achieves an exceptional balance between deep peat smoke and velvety richness. Intense aromas of smouldering bonfire embers, espresso coffee, treacle, leather and dried fruits rise from the glass, while the palate reveals layers of dark chocolate, spice, black pepper, smoked barley and maritime salt.

Despite its unmistakable Islay intensity, Uigeadail remains beautifully balanced and remarkably smooth, with a long warming finish that lingers elegantly.
