3.2. As a registered Member of CountryClubuk, please note that Suppliers of Benefits and the Benefits themselves are subject to availability and may change from time to time without notice.

3.3. CountryClubuk aims to ensure that the benefits and services remain available at all times and are constantly negotiating new benefits and services to ensure that you receive maximum use of your Membership. If any of the benefits and services become unavailable, or vary in any way, CountryClubuk will do all it can to ensure that prior commitments are honoured to the fullest extent possible, but shall not be responsible for any actions of Suppliers outside CountryClubuk’s actual control.

4. USING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

4.1. You may make requests by telephone, email, post or through the Site, once you have been accepted as a Member.

4.2. CountryClubuk will provide both the services described on the Site (from time to time) and concierge services at your request—that is, you may request CountryClubuk to provide or arrange any lawful, proper and moral personal service in relation to any personal needs or desires (including, without limitation, provision of information, access to events, activities and venues, and personal goods and services) (the “Services”).

4.3. CountryClubuk reserves the right to withdraw any of these Services and/or to refuse to supply the services or products requested, without prior notice.

4.4. If CountryClubuk is unable to deal with any request, it will inform you as soon as CountryClubuk considers to be reasonably practicable bearing in mind the circumstances prevailing at the time.

4.5. Suppliers are responsible for providing you with the services, products and benefits you select. CountryClubuk will communicate with Suppliers on your behalf unless it is more appropriate for you to contact the Supplier directly.

4.6. Suppliers may impose their own terms and conditions, and in the case of clubs, hotels and cruise operators, their own rules, principally but not exclusively for conduct and dress, and you are required to comply with these.

4.7. When ordering a product or service, or accessing a benefit, you may be required to provide your Payment Card details. If you request and authorise CountryClubuk to use your Payment Card in order to pay a Supplier for products or services, you acknowledge and agree that CountryClubuk shall have no liability in respect of or be responsible in any way whatsoever in respect of the use of your Payment Card provided that CountryClubuk believes it is acting in accordance with the instructions issued by you in relation thereto.

4.8. You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of booking, ordering or purchasing products or services are correct, that the Payment Card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the product or the service.

4.9. From time to time the procurement or provision of certain services, products or benefits may incur a CountryClubuk handling charge (of which you will be notified) – in these cases you hereby authorise CountryClubuk to debit your Payment Card with any such handling charges.

4.10. CountryClubuk may at your order purchase goods or services on your behalf. In the event that it acts as a credit agent in this regard, you hereby authorise CountryClubuk to deduct the credit sum from your Payment Card. In the event that CountryClubuk pays for the goods or services in cash, it shall be entitled to add any applicable credit card charges to the sum deducted from your Payment Card.

4.11. Unless otherwise agreed by CountryClubuk and the Supplier, you shall not be entitled to cancel any services requested where, on your instructions, performance has already begun.

4.12. Telephone calls to CountryClubuk may be monitored or recorded for training and quality control purposes.

5. TRAVEL SERVICES

5.1. Any services including travel tickets and holidays purchased through CountryClubuk will be subject also to the terms and conditions of the travel or holiday operator or other Supplier. Please note that CountryClubuk acts as an introductory agent on behalf of the Supplier. All rights and remedies you have are against the relevant Supplier.

5.2. If for any reason you wish to cancel your personal hotel reservation, you must do so directly with the hotel by email and by telephone and within the cancellation period stated—which varies between different hotels. Please note the cancellation number which will be given to you by the hotel, or you may be liable to pay the hotel the full value of your reservation. CountryClubuk will be happy to assist in your cancellation, but accepts no responsibility for cancelling your hotel booking.

5.3. If your reservation is for a specific holiday payable in advance (for example, a cruise, hotel resort with flights, or other timed event), all sales are final, no refunds or cancellations are issued after you have made your purchase. You may transfer your reservation or tickets to another Member of your choosing, subject to the sole discretion of CountryClubuk, and to your advance payment of any additional charge(s) which might arise from such transfer of your booking (for example, but not exclusively, changes of name(s) on flights and other itineraries).

5.4. All who travel using CountryClubuk rates must be fully paid-up Members of CountryClubuk at both the time of booking and the time of travelling in order to qualify for CountryClubuk rates. If a traveller is not a fully paid-up CountryClubuk Member at either date, full public rates will apply. If between booking and embarkation (in the case of a cruise) or flights (in the case of air) or checking-in (in the case of hotels), the full public rate will apply and in this case you authorise CountryClubuk to debit your Payment Card with any such charges.

5.5. If, due to your booking of a product or service, CountryClubuk has become obligated to a third party Supplier for making advance payments on your behalf, it will be deemed that full liability for such payments will fall to you and you authorise CountryClubuk to debit your Payment Card with any such charges.

5.6. Rates, itinerary, timing, route and availability may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements.

5.7. Bookings are personal and may not be resold, transferred, exchanged, or otherwise assigned without first obtaining the prior written consent of CountryClubuk, which consent may be granted or withheld in the sole discretion of CountryClubuk.

5.8. In line with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office advise to travellers, it is strongly recommended to take out an insurance policy prior to, or at the time booking, to make sure you’re covered in the event of any changes before you depart, as well as incidents during your travel.

6. RESTAURANT AND CLUB SERVICES

6.1. When you use the restaurant booking service you hereby authorise us to debit your Payment Card for any deposit paid by us on your behalf to the restaurant which is forfeited as a result of cancellation of the booking.

6.2. When you use reciprocal clubs you agree to abide by each individual club’s rules, terms and conditions; these are available on request, and/or on the individual club’s own website.

7. TICKETS AND EVENTS

7.1. CountryClubuk is engaged in the business of obtaining “best tickets” for events either directly itself or through one of its ticket agent Partners. Please note that in certain circumstances you are purchasing tickets above face value, which includes service charge(s) reflecting our costs and efforts in obtaining your premium seats.

7.2. All sales are final, no refunds or cancellations are issued after you have purchased your tickets. You may transfer your ticket(s) to another Member of your choosing, subject to the sole discretion of CountryClubuk, and to your advance payment of any additional charge(s) which might arise from such transfer of your booking.

7.3. Tickets remain the property of CountryClubuk, or the Supplier, until you have paid in full for all tickets ordered. Neither CountryClubuk nor its Suppliers will accept any responsibility for price increases which may occur between your order for tickets and your full payment. If it happens that, during the time between your payment of a deposit and your full payment, the price of tickets either increases or reduces, you will be offered the opportunity to buy the tickets at the up-to-date price or you can elect to receive a refund of your deposit within 30 days, minus a handling charge. If during the time between your payment of a deposit and your full payment, the tickets are no longer available (eg for a sold-out show or event), you will receive a refund of your deposit within 30 days, minus a handling charge. Please note that neither CountryClubuk nor its ticket agent Partners can be held liable in any way if tickets for which you have not paid in full are subsequently no longer available or have increased in price.

7.4. In the event of show cancellations directly by the artist/promoter, only the return of the face value of the tickets can be guaranteed. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

7.5. CountryClubuk or its ticket agent partner may, at its sole discretion, despatch your tickets by post at the standard rate. Please note that neither CountryClubuk nor its ticket agent partners can be held liable for any failure by the Royal Mail to deliver your tickets.

7.6. CountryClubuk or its ticket agent Partners usually despatch or email tickets well in advance. However, some events have posting restrictions and are not despatched or emailed  until the week prior to the event taking place. On certain occasions, our representatives may deliver your tickets to the box office on the night of the show or event at no additional cost, or email your tickets to the email address which you provide.

7.7. Bookings are personal and may not be resold, transferred, exchanged, or otherwise assigned without first obtaining the prior written consent of CountryClubuk, which consent may be granted or withheld in the sole discretion of CountryClubuk. Any tickets purchased, resold or offered for resale in breach of these special conditions may be cancelled and invalidated in the sole discretion of CountryClubuk.

8. PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH THE CLUB

8.1. If the requested product or service is not available the Suppliers may offer you substitute products of a similar description and standard, but you may refuse the substitute products and receive a full refund.

8.2. CountryClubuk makes every effort to ensure that its articles are accurate and cannot be held responsible or liable for inaccurate or misleading product descriptions. Products may differ slightly from the images shown, or in the case of events, the full itinerary may not be exactly as stated in advance, although every effort is made to ensure that all product and other descriptions are as accurate as possible.

8.3. CountryClubuk may from time to time offer special CountryClubuk products or services for sale through the Site, the weekly eNewsletter or the Club Magazine. These products will be clearly specified as being supplied by CountryClubuk in their description.

8.4. The full CountryClubuk purchase price of all products and services is due for payment on acceptance of your order by the Supplier or, if applicable, CountryClubuk. Goods remain the property of either the Supplier or CountryClubuk until they have been paid for in full. If during the interim period the price of the goods has increased, you can elect either to pay the additional cost in full and receive the goods, or to be refunded whatever monies have been paid, minus handling charge.

8.5. CountryClubuk is a private membership club which exists to benefit its Members. Only fully paid-up Members of CountryClubuk are entitled to purchase items from CountryClubuk. If at any point a non-member purchases an item, having purported to be a Member, or if a Member relinquishes membership, the full retail price of the item will apply.

9. RETURNS AND DAMAGED PRODUCTS

9.1. Other than those Suppliers who supply products that are perishable, or are made to your specification or are clearly personalised for you, each Supplier offers a 7-day “no quibble” guarantee in relation to its products. If you wish to return the products for whatever reason within 7 days of delivery, you may do so provided that the products are unused and in their original packaging. You will be credited in full within 30 days of the Supplier receiving written notification from you that you wish to return the products. The Supplier reserves the right to charge for any damage or missing parts.

9.2. All returns must be addressed to CountryClubuk at CountryClubuk, JSP Media Ltd, 11 Princes Street, Mayfair, London W1B 2LJ, United Kingdom, and must be made either by courier or registered post.
