Every Friday and Saturday evening, the Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant, widely considered one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world, puts on ‘Live at The Ritz’, a fabulous evening of fine dining and live entertainment. Dancing is off the menu until further notice—but ‘Live at The Ritz’ includes a delicious four-course dinner with spectacular live entertainment—from the celebrated London Dance Orchestra on Fridays and a five-piece band with Peter O’Donnell on Saturdays. The London Dance Orchestra is one of the UK’s most in-demand swing dance bands, entertaining audiences with an imaginative interpretation of the American Songbook and other epic sounds from the big band era. Vocalist Iain Mackenzie (principal male vocalist with Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra) sings on most Friday evenings accompanied by a swinging rhythm section and horn frontline. The London Dance Orchestra have performed with an exceptional array of artists including Van Morrison, Tom Jones, Emeli Sandé, Jools Holland, Bryan Ferry, Paloma Faith and more.

On Saturdays the five-piece band with Peter O’Donnell entertains with a selection of songs from the American Songbook. Each has a wealth of professional experience around the world. Tap your toes along to swing favourites from the Rat Pack and Cole Porter.

 

To this swinging soundtrack you can enjoy haute cuisine in the Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant, and when the celebrations have ceased you can waltz your way to the comfort of your glamorous guestroom for a good night’s rest. Next morning you can return to the Ritz Restaurant to rejuvenate with a full English breakfast: it’s all included!
