Jeanraude Vineyard – Neighbour to Château-Grillet
The Jeanraude parcel sits in an exceptional position directly adjacent to Château-Grillet, one of the oldest and most prestigious appellations in France. The steep, south-facing granite terraces benefit from ideal sun exposure and excellent drainage, yielding small quantities of highly concentrated Viognier.
Tasting Notes & Food Pairings
In the 2023 vintage, the wine displays the classic Condrieu perfume — ripe stone fruit, floral lift and a distinctive mineral edge — while maintaining freshness and finesse. On the palate it is textured and complex, with layers of apricot, white peach, subtle spice and a long, saline finish. It pairs beautifully with refined fish and shellfish dishes, creamy risottos, or simply enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.
