Robert Noble have been Scottish weavers for 355 years; now they are renowned not only for quality but for colourful tweed, manifest here in their new brown and beige herringbone enlivened by a dark and light lilac check. In the hands of old-established English tailors Gurteen (founded in 1784), a stunning, well-cut new jacket is created, its colours those of the Scottish moors.
It is medium weight with an elegant natural cut (not too slim) which has the capacity to dress up to visit one’s great aunt for Sunday lunch, and to dress down for a night with friends at the local, or a country dinner date, and all points in between. This is a beautifully tailored and stylish new jacket.
It has a lilac silky lining. Tailoring details include the matched stripes, smart ticket pocket and felt collar lining in matching lilac, which you can turn up or down as you please.
Sizes: Regular (in 40-48in chest), short (40-44in), long (40-46in).
