Just arrived, this elegant pure wool tweed jacket, expertly designed and tailored by English tailors Gurteen from a beautiful pure wool tweed in an elegant medium shade of brown. Smooth, soft, and looking as if it were made to measure, this new jacket boasts an exceptional fit as well as a luxurious pure wool, and a smart and attractive colour—brown and navy look really good.

It is extremely versatile, working perfectly with wines, blues, fawns and browns as well as greens, over everything from a plain shirt in town to a check shirt and a country look, with a smart doeskin waistcoat or jumper, and it looks great with chinos, cavalry twills—or blue jeans for a contemporary look.

Gurteen’s history as English tailors began in 1784. No surprise then that this fine jacket carries tailoring details which mark it out: such as the smart little ticket pocket, flapped and jetted, above the two front flapped pockets. Then there is the all-important matching checks and final hand stitching.

The jacket is in medium weight wool, it is soft and comfortable, and the silky lining is a smart navy blue with three interior pockets, one buttoned for security.
