This smart tailored jacket from the Reigate collection is expertly cut in a beautiful tweed by our English tailors Gurteen, a superb example of their excellent eye for classic yet contemporary style in pure wool cloth.
It’s a handsome charcoal and blue herringbone tweed, with a dark brown overcheck which add a distinctive look to the overall effect. It is very versatile, looking good with many colours, from reds and browns to blues, greens, golds, fawn, even black. Ideal for smart occasions with waistcoat, collar and tie as here, or casual with tattersall check shirt, crew-neck or polo-neck knitwear.
The result is an elegant and masculine premium quality jacket, the perfect look and weight for autumn and winter. It is well cut in classic two-button style, single-breasted with slant front pockets and smart ticket pocket, flapped and jetted, a slant breast pocket and notched lapels. It has side vents and a four-button cuff. It has four internal pockets in the smart silky lining.

About Gurteen 1784:
Gurteen is an English family run tailoring business established in Haverhill, Suffolk, in 1784, where it is still situated today. The company started life making smocks which was the general garment at that time and as the years moved on, so too did the clothing. From making Army uniforms during World War One and World War Two, to measuring up and making the suits for the English Rugby team, the company has always met a challenge. The business is still retained and managed by family members, and the passion for men’s tailoring burns as fiercely today as it did back in 1784.
