The Royal Blue is lightly fitted, in lightweight wool-crepe with a modestly revealing v-neck and sleeves that stop just short of the wrist. Not only is its colour memorable, it creates an unforgettably streamlined silhouette through ingenious tailoring: superb cut, slimming v-front bodice etched into the skirt, and beautiful sleeves which cover unwelcome upper arms and elbows (‘Elbows are another problem area,’ says Eve).

Just add your favourite jewels (here, worn with stunning natural black Tahitian pearls and diamonds), and leave your cover-up bolero or stole at home!

As with the entire Eve at Donna Collection, the dress is well made in England, and fully lined. It features a box pleat centre back vent and concealed centre zip at the back. The finished skirt length is 26in from the waist and a hem allowance of 1½ in allows lengthening.
