Join us at the House of Lords for the CountryClubuk Champagne Charity Reception on the new date: Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

The calling of a snap General Election and the resulting Dissolution of Parliament have caused the postponement. It means that a new Government will be in place to hear our charity, the Atlantic Salmon Trust, put their case to Parliament on how to save wild Atlantic salmon—recently reclassified as an endangered species in the UK—as well as their wider environment

We much hope the new date means that more of our Members can be there among our guests, who already include Members of both Houses of Parliament and all Parties

At the Reception, Champagne will be served on arrival, followed by hot and cold canapés served with House of Lords wines and soft drinks. There will be opportunity to meet the dignitaries and fellow Club members. Numbers are of course limited to the size of the venue, but the aim is to have a capacity crowd and Members and Trust supporters are welcome to invite their own personal guests to attend and add their support. Tickets are £139 per head and the proceeds will go to the charity.

The date is Tuesday, October 15, 2024. The timing is 6.30pm (arrival requested at 6.15pm) to 8.30pm. The dress code is smart (lounge suits for the men and equivalent attire for the ladies).
