This handsome pure wool jacket in soft shades of lovat green is well-cut and tailored by our English tailors. It is a lovely smooth English wool tweed, and the hint of purple heather in the overcheck really adds to the elegant appearance.
In traditional British single-breasted two-button style, it is flatteringly cut and has two side vents, angled front pockets, flapped and jetted, an extra flapped and jetted ticket pocket, slanted breast pocket and four-button cuffs. There are three interior pockets, one buttoned for security, within a smart silky lining.This is an elegant jacket which will co-ordinate with many outfits and work in town as well as country.

About Gurteen 1784:
Gurteen is an English family run tailoring business established in Haverhill, Suffolk, in 1784, where it is still situated today. The company started life making smocks which was the general garment at that time and as the years moved on, so too did the clothing. From making Army uniforms during World War One and World War Two, to measuring up and making the suits for the English Rugby team, the company has always met a challenge. The business is still retained and managed by family members, and the passion for men’s tailoring burns as fiercely today as it did back in 1784.
