Antique waxed Men’s Paddock Jacket

The Paddock Jacket is a smarter than usual antique waxed cotton jacket for men, which we recommend for town as well as country, the shoulders having been cut so it sits well over a suit jacket, as well as over layers of thick wool and waistcoats for race meetings and country sport and walks.

The waxed cotton is American, and excellent quality—the Americans know a thing or two about weather protection!—and the coat has a wide padded corduroy collar, thick and warm, to turn up against the elements, with matching cord lining to keep your wrists comfortable at the cuffs. The two-way brass zip is heavy-duty, the quilted plaid lining is made of thick cotton, filled with polyester for warmth, and the two front pockets are lined in matching soft cotton. Other features include storm flap, detachable throat tab, and zipped internal pocket for valuables.
