Everything about this beautiful jacket is elegant, from the stylish cut to the feel of the cloth and the exquisite shade of lovat green. We have seen it in ‘Gentleman’s London’ for £400, but for our Club Members it is less than half that price (of course!).
The jacket is tailored in a smooth pure wool herringbone tweed of medium weight—perfect to wear now, yet substantial enough for winter—and the line and balance are extremely flattering.
The attractive lovat green, with its discreet blue and lilac overcheck makes it an extremely versatile jacket. It looks superb with a white or blue shirt of course, with tattersall checks and many other colours, and with trousers ranging from classic cavalry twill and moleskins to cords.
Apart from the lovely smooth Irish tweed, what sets this jacket apart is the superb cut, attention to detail in the tailoring, and the hand finishing: hand stitching on the collar—that touch of class which improves the lie of the lapels—on the buttonholes and lining, all denoting high-quality tailoring.
It is cut in single-breasted, two-button style, with side vents, and has two straight flapped and jetted front pockets, breast welt pocket, lapel buttonhole, four-button sleeves and four interior pockets within the silky lining, one buttoned for security.
Sizes: short (in 38-48in chest), regular (38-50in chest), long (42-46in chest).
RRP £315. CCUK £197.
For 48in and 50in chest, available in regular fitting, the tailor charges a supplement of 10%.
