This Organic Steak, Sausage and Burger Barbecue Box comes from the Clarissa Dickson Wright Award winners, Peelham Farm of Berwickshire. Succulent, delicious, full of flavour, this is a delicious homemade organic meat box, it will easily feed eight or more, and it is guaranteed free of artificial additives, gluten, preservatives, flavour-enhancers, colorants and GMOs.

Clarissa’s award was set up by the Countryside Alliance to perpetuate the famous cook’s legacy; it was presented to Denise and Chris Walton from Peelham Farm by the Environment Secretary at a Parliamentary reception, where Baroness Mallalieu, Countryside Alliance president, told the reception that Peelham fully realised Clarissa’s goal of local farms with strong animal husbandry, producing slow and artisan food, and fostering our farming heritage: ‘Our winners fit the bill—and they live up to their motto: “Love the land, love the animal, love their meat”.’

Peelham is a family-run organic mixed farm perched on the watershed between the lower reaches of Whiteadder Water and the Eye Water, with panoramic views of the Tweed Valley and the North Sea. The meats are full-flavoured, organic, free-range and from traditional breeds and they do things properly, with an all-grass system, properly hung, to fully develop the flavours.

Our organic, gluten-free barbecue box contains four mouthwatering organic beef rump steaks from Peelham’s Aberdeen Angus x Luing (native Scottish breed) beef cattle, grass-fed all year to produce slow-fattened beef, well hung and with excellent flavour from tender, marbled beef. The organic burgers and sausages are made with their own organic, free-range pigs, grass-fed lamb and pasture-grazed beef to their own recipes and with fresh ingredients—no bought-in pre-mixes here. The ingredients are simply beef mince, garlic, seasoning, full of flavour. Similarly with the Tamworth x Duroc Pork & Chive Burgers.

Peelham are great sausage makers and you will enjoy gluten-free sausages made with their own minced meat, fresh herbs and top-quality spices. Added to which are lamb kofta sticks from the Lleyn British native breed, succulent and spicy with garlic, fresh herbs and spices—and a pack of Tamworth x Duroc pork spare ribs.

The Organic Barbecue Box contains 3kg of meat and easily feeds eight. It contains: Aberdeen Angus/Luing Beef Rump Steaks, 4 x250g each (1kg); Beef & Garlic Burgers, 2 x 125g each; Tamworth x Duroc Pork & Chive Burgers, 2x125g each; Merguez Sausages, 1 x300g pack (5-6 sausages); Boerewors Sausages, 2x300g pack (2 long links); Chorizo Sausages, 1 x 300g pack (5-6 sausages); Lamb Kofta Sticks, 1 x 300g pack; Pork Spare Ribs, 1 x 500g.
