Inspired by the life-enhancing painting of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, entitled ‘Vida la Vida’, this pure silk chiffon stole is stunning. With its luscious crimson and green watermelons, the fruits and the way in which they are painted are exciting, not only through the vibrance of the watermelons but also in the phrase which the artist wrote, incorporated into the painting, ‘Long Live Life!’ Although Viva la Vida was Frida Kahlo’s final finished painting before her death days later, in fact it is a tribute to life.
