This new pure wool jacket from Ireland is the smartest, most flattering we have seen for a long time—the excellent cut, gently fitted waist like that of a hunting coat, fine wool cloth and subtle mixture of soft lovats with green and blue overcheck, all accentuate a trim manly figure, and that is the style we were seeking.
Woven and tailored in Ireland, it has excellent line and balance, with tailoring details such as hand-stitching on the collar and lapels, angled breast pocket and front flapped pockets, and that sartorially smart right-hand ticket pocket which always adds an extra refinement.
Though warm enough to wear from autumn to spring with a cloth weight of 495g (17 1/2 oz), it is sleek not bulky, and the single-breasted, three-button style and gently-waisted cut are very debonair.
The jacket has two side vents and four cuff buttons. There are plenty of interior pockets, one buttoned for valuables, and a dashing silky blue lining with fawn-and-white striped sleeve linings and interior trim.
Sizes 38-50in chest in regular, 36-46in in short, and 42-46in in long fittings. For 50in chest an additional charge applies.
