About Gurteen 1784:
Gurteen is a renowned and historic English family run tailoring business established in Haverhill, Suffolk, in 1784, where it is still situated today. The company started life making smocks which was the general garment at that time and as the years moved on, so too did the clothing. From making Army uniforms during World War One and World War Two, to measuring up and making the suits for the English Rugby team, the company has always met a challenge. The business is still retained and managed by family members, and the passion for men’s tailoring burns as fiercely today as it did back in 1784.
