And here English tailors Gurteen have tailored a high quality soft fine-wale pure cotton needlecord jacket in a proper English cut that is comfortable yet smart—making this jacket both classic and fashionably cool!
It has a flattering two-button cut with double vents and plenty of fine tailoring details: cuffs with four decorative buttons, left chest welt pocket, two front waist flapped pockets and two interior chest pockets, notch lapels, buttonhole at the left lapel, smart Constellation lining in the body, at the sleeves and the back yoke.
The colour, midnight blue, goes beautifully with browns, sand and fawns, all manner of greys and white, reds and pinks.

Gurteen is an English family run tailoring business established in Haverhill, Suffolk, in 1784, where it is still situated today. The company started life making smocks which was the general garment at that time and as the years moved on, so too did the clothing. From making Army uniforms during World War One and World War Two, to measuring up and making the suits for the English Rugby team, the company has always met a challenge. The business is still retained and managed by family members, and the passion for men’s tailoring burns as fiercely today as it did back in 1784.
