The jeweller gave this gorgeous gemstone an elegant teardrop cut, and set it in 18ct white gold accentuated with a cluster setting of high-quality diamonds with a single large accenting diamond at the top, to create a true statement piece. The 11.66 carat tanzanite is of the highest quality (AAAA) and the gemstone with its cluster setting of diamonds alone measures 20mm deep by 14mm wide. The full ‘drop’ from the chain is 30mm. The .53 carats of diamonds are excellent—very white, F in colour, and VS in quality, meaning they are flawless to the naked eye. The setting is in 18ct white gold, the 16in chain is also 18ct white gold, studded with six diamonds, and the piece is fully hallmarked in England.
