Vintage leather evening gloves by Southcombe of Somerset

This is an accessory requiring no introduction. Fitting above the elbow with musketeer palm opening and button and loop embellishment, they make a style statement in their own right. Fabulous with eveningwear and outerwear with cropped sleeves, these are the vintage gloves which Southcombe of Somerset have been lovingly creating since the Thirties. A glamorous style that has remained unchanged since the 1930’s.

The gloves are silk lined, lambskin, and fit like a second skin. Overall length of the glove is 50cm from tip of the middle finger to the cuff when measured on a flat surface.

To measure your hands:

Usually one hand is slightly larger than the other, typically the dominant hand (the right hand if you are right handed). Using a tape measure, wrap the tape around the dominant hand at the widest part (between your thumb and index finger) and make a loose fist.
