Beautifully tailored pure wool tweed jacket by Magee of Donegal

It combines high-quality tailoring, silky Irish lambswool tweed, a classic herringbone pattern, rich history and the colours of the Irish countryside. The fine herringbone tweed is medium weight at 360g (12 ½ oz) and a lovely subtle shade of lovat green with a hint of rust and dark sand in the overcheck. It is a flattering colour and looks good with just about everything in the wardrobe, from browns to blues, reds and greens, making it very easy to wear.

It looks great in classic country style with tattersall check shirts and sporting ties—and equally good for a contemporary look with a plain shirt, with or without a tie, or a light merino or cashmere sweater. Furthermore, it is beautifully tailored and hand finished, with fine hand stitching on the lapels and the lining, so it looks and feels made to measure. The cut is a flattering two-button style, with two side vents, two straight front pockets, flapped and jetted, and angled breast welt pocket. It is fully lined in co-ordinating wine satin and has four interior pockets, one buttoned for security.
