The original silk Tootal scarf is well and truly back on the runway, and an all-time favourite. Tootal is one of England’s oldest brands, its history a sign of changing times. Founded in 1799, the company’s distinctive paisley and polka-dot scarves became a key style accessory, forever associated with the ‘RAF officer look’—and now they have become the accessory of choice in sartorially conscious ‘Gentlemen’s London’.

We love this scarf because, not only is it smart and elegant, going beautifully with jackets, coats or shirts and waistcoats, it has a very soft, silky drape which ties easily and hangs well, and it is comfortable and light enough to wear in every season. Tootal returned to their pattern archive to produce a new range of scarves, including an all-time favourite, the navy paisley.
