The unique and sensational Isadora vintage Burmese jade and 14ct gold necklace
Elegant and sophisticated, as well as precious, the Isadora is a work of art. For this, the longer necklace of the two, our jade jeweller has combined carved and polished vintage Burmese lavender jade with 14ct yellow gold to create the necklace, which is then adorned by a carved vintage Burmese lavender jade and 14ct gold pendant. Jade has held a special attraction for thousands of years, particularly in the East and parts of the South Pacific, where it is considered more precious than diamonds. It comes in many colours, lavender being more rare than green. The stone has life and expression, and the lovely muted colours of this lavender jade go beautifully with the 14ct yellow gold. The jade is of high quality, with even colouring. Every detail of the pendant, in which are seen three beautifully carved peaches—symbolising longevity—has been sculpted by hand from a single piece of jade, which is at least 40 years old.
This lovely necklace is 24in long and the pendant, set on 14ct gold, adds another 3in. The necklace can be worn alone; the pendant too can be worn alone on a gold chain. But wear them together—the effect is spectacular. It is unique, and there is consequently one only. RRP £2,000. CCUK £969. One only.
This fine piece arrives in a presentation case and carries a valuation certificate for insurance purposes and a full 100% money back guaranteed.
It is pictured here with the Pounamu, which combines a vintage green Burmese jade floral pendant with a lovely necklace of polished green, lavender, red, yellow and white jade, also vintage Burmese, linked by natural pearls and 14ct yellow gold to create an original and beautiful piece. Again, there is one only. Code PJ16CC04. RRP £500. CCUK £237.
