Here is a stunning new blue sapphire and diamond ring from London’s Hatton Garden. At its heart is a large 5 carat natural blue Ceylon sapphire, a lively, glittering, flashing gem with depth and which, as the gemologists say, really ‘speaks’ to its viewer.

It is a gorgeous stone, full of character, a natural Ceylon sapphire of a beautiful blue in medium tones with violet hues, and very clean. These are the stones which the connoisseurs look for.

And the international jewellery designer who created this ring to showcase the quality of the gemstone chose as its side diamonds two trapezoid cut diamonds to add their own individuality and white fire to the blue fire of the sapphire. This is a cut to be used with the high quality diamonds which the jeweller has used here.
