How To Clean Your Gainsborough Silverware
Gainsborough have put together a guideon how to clean your silverware to ensure they are maintained and kept looking like new. Here are their top tips:
Hand wash immediately after use to prevent marks and stains. Use domestic washing up liquid with warm water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Dry immediately, otherwise the open air will cause unwanted natural drying marks.
Use a microfibre cloth. The tiny strands help naturally buff and polish the silver, removing any fingermarks and stains.
Never use chemicals or abrasive solutions to clean your silver. Natural cleaning solutions such as vinegar, cider, lemon juice, olive oil and soda water all work wonderfully on removing stains from stainless steel and silver.
Keep your silver in a cabinet. Store your silver in a cotton bag or wrap.
