This beautiful Fleur de Lys Arch Tunnel by Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallists Ascalon Design is magnificent—and so popular that this is advance notice of its arrival in May and June! It’s brilliant as a support for profusions of climbing roses, honeysuckle, clematis and wisteria, and it creates an enchanting place in which to walk or sit, to create an elegant decorative feature, giving height and an attractive focal point, and a scented bower—it looks stunning over a pathway, or to frame a gate or door, or beside a pool—and if you are having a wedding or anniversary at home it creates a romantic and picturesque frame for family photographs.

Whichever plant varieties you choose to combine, the best are multiple flowering so that the tunnel remains in bloom and full colour for months. Scent is also important—and this will create the perfect place in which to sit and read in summer, shaded from full sun.

Choose from a cream finish, or rusty iron, depending on whether you wish to see the tunnel or let it disappear within the plants. The cream arch tunnel is made from wrought iron and painted, the rusty iron is in powder-coated steel with a rusty finish. Both are robust, long-lasting, and weather-resistant, easy to assemble and to move about, and easily cleaned with soap and water; the cream style can be repainted or retouched.

They measure some 240cm tall (7ft 9in) by 145cm wide (4ft 8in) by 240cm (7ft 10in) diameter. For a longer tunnel, simply order two.
