This most traditional Gavi is vinified from grapes grown in vineyards located in the heart of Rovereto of Gavi, known worldwide as the ‘Gran Crù of Gavi’; the Cortese vines, which are 20-30 years old, give power and concentration seldom seen in the region, their perfectly balanced ageing lending the wine its typical delicious flavour.

La Scolca has become a classic of Italian wine, produced in accord with a century-old tradition to represent the essence of Gavi wine. Sea breeze, full sunlight exposure, freshness and humidity—all of these create an atmosphere ideal for a complete and proper ripening of the grapes to produce this excellent wine.
