It doesn’t get more glamorous than Courchevel 1850—pristine snowscapes, a finely-crafted Alpine charm and some of the planet’s finest dining combine to make this ski area one of Europe’s most exclusive. And when luxury ski cognoscenti think of the best place to stay in Courchevel, it has to be Palace Les Airelles.
One of the most stunning mountain hotels in the world, Les Airelles is a legendary Courchevel 1850 location—the first luxury hotel in Courchevel, and considered still to be the best, winning numerous awards including Condé Nast Traveller’s No1 Best Mountain Hotel. It offers the finest ski-in, ski-out sport on Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world, within a winter wonderland—a beautiful wooded, snowy landscape on the most elegant district of Jardin Alpin. So popular is Les Airelles that the hotel owners never reduce their rates—but exclusively, our Members are invited to stay on advantageous terms to enjoy all this, including Michelin Star dining.
Les Airelles is the hotel which truly symbolises glamorous Courchevel. The fabulous skiing is enhanced by unparalleled style, quality and service in this Leading Hotel of the World. Here, Alpine spirit meets chalet style and five-star luxury, promising all grades of skiers and mountain lovers an unbeatable experience. Every element is beautiful, from the cosy-chic rooms and suites, to Pierre Gagnaire’s 2-star Michelin restaurant and the Spa La Mer. Think of the beauty of snow-topped turrets, pastel-hued frescoes, stained-glass windows and carved wood balconies. The 48 rooms and suites are beautiful—as is the private chalet with nine rooms, including two suites. Les Airelles is not merely a ski holiday, it is an elegant experience—and it is so easy fly in for a two-night break. Geneva, Grenoble and Chambery are about a 1 hour 45 minute flight from the UK, and all less than 190km from airport to your Palace hotel.
The usual rates at Palace Les Airelles are rather eyewatering, starting from 612.50€ per person per night (based on two sharing). The Club Members’ rate is from 498€, a little easier on the wallet, again per person based on two sharing and including half board, which you can choose to enjoy in the two-star Michelin restaurant, or in the resort’s three more restaurants, or in Les Airelles’ two gourmet restaurants on the slopes.
