So many manmade fibres are in shops nowadays that it is a relief to find 100% pure new wool trousers with an expert cut from an excellent tailor. These trousers in charcoal pure wool are real favourites with our Club Members—and now they are available in navy too.
They are beautifully tailored, classically half-lined to the knee for comfort, longer wearing, and to keep their shape, with a flat front, zip fastening with extra security button, belt loops, two front pockets and buttoned pockets at the back.
They are the ideal trousers to wear whenever you don’t want to wear a suit, but still want to be smart, looking good with jackets, tweeds, blazers, shirts and jumpers. And at this price you really should order a couple of pairs!

Gurteen is an English family run tailoring business established in Haverhill, Suffolk, in 1784, where it is still situated today. The company started life making smocks which was the general garment at that time and as the years moved on, so too did the clothing. From making Army uniforms during World War One and World War Two, to measuring up and making the suits for the English Rugby team, the company has always met a challenge. The business is still retained and managed by family members, and the passion for men’s tailoring burns as fiercely today as it did back in 1784.
