Hotel Vernet is one of our favourite boutique hotels in Paris, a chic five star with plenty of space, style and character in the heart of the city. Standing in Rue Fernet, parallel to the Champs-Elysées in the ‘golden triangle’ couture shopping area, with the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais and Chaillot museums nearby, the Vernet is a Parisian delight: classic in style with contemporary touches of French art and craftsmanship.

The Vernet has been an hotel from its beginnings in 1913, a tribute to the Belle Epoque period in its spacious and elegant interiors—including a spectacular glass dome designed by Gustave Eiffel, a stained glass stairwell and colonnaded foyer.

A bar sculpted from a single piece of marble, and a ceiling painted by French artist Jean-Michel Alberola, all add to the artistic ambience. The classic French restaurant, Le V, offers gourmet cuisine beneath Eiffel’s elegant and magnificent stained glass dome.

The generously sized bedrooms with their high ceilings, decked out in natural wood and colourful fabrics, complete the feeling of relaxed comfort. Bathrooms are smart monochrome marble. There are only five guest bedrooms and three suites—two-bedroom and three-bedroom, which are perfect for families and add further to the ambience of a private residence.
