They will take you effotlessly from late-summer to autumn, winter and spring with a simple change of accessories. Just add one or two extras with personality — a sandal and sunglasses in summer, a pure wool scarf, your favourite boots or heels and a jacket in autumn, and your statement coat in winter, be it an ocelot print or a classic tweed, choose between a belt and a bauble, and go!

The super little Fleet knee-length dress is the perfect easy day-dress. Wear it alone, with jewellery or scarf, its long sleeves pushed up or left long. And the easiest way to make it look right for nine-to-five is to top it off with a tailored jacket. Investing in a sharp blazer can turn this – and entire swathes of your wardrobe that were previously off-limits – office appropriate. When it’s time to go out, just remove said jacket.
