Notes from the Producer:
Sancerre rosé, a rare AOC for rosé wines made from Pinot Noir, offers a great balance of freshness and concentration.
Vineyards: Crézancy-en-Sancerre and Bué.
Soils: mostly from our famous red sandstone “Terres Rouges” but also rocky limestone “Caillottes” soils.
Grape variety: Pinot noir.
Vinification: This rosé is made by direct pressing, in order to maintain maximum freshness.
Tasting notes:
Appearance: Bright pale pink hue.
Nose: Open and complex with aromas of strawberry, red berry fruits and citrus fruits such as grapefruit.
Palate: Great balance between body and vivacity. The finish is fresh and persistent.
Food pairing suggestions: Perfect as an aperitif but also with salads, tapas and grilled meats.
Peak drinking window: enjoy now until 2028.
Serving temperature recommended: 10°C to 12°C.
