As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp with anticipation, we at CountryClubuk are delighted to extend an exclusive invitation to one of the most enchanting events of the season: the December Carol Concert at the legendary Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a Belmond Hotel.

Nestled in the idyllic Oxfordshire countryside, this two-Michelin-starred haven—Raymond Blanc’s timeless tribute to French gastronomy and English elegance—transforms into a winter wonderland each December, where timeless carols echo through ancient stone and seasonal delights warm the soul.

Picture this evening of harmony and heart: the soft glow of candlelight illuminating the 12th-century walls of the neighbouring church in Great Milton, as the world-renowned Trinity Boys Choir fills the air with the purest renditions of beloved carols—from Silent Night to O Holy Night.

Founded in 1959 and captivating audiences for nearly 60 years, this celebrated ensemble of young voices has earned international acclaim for its crystalline tone, impeccable precision, and emotive delivery. With a Grammy nomination for their album A Choral Tapestry, sold-out tours across Europe and the US, and performances at iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall and alongside the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Trinity Boys Choir brings a magical blend of youthful exuberance and professional polish to every stage. Their holiday repertoire—rich with traditional English carols and heartfelt arrangements—ignites the season’s spirit like no other. This is no ordinary concert; it’s a harmonious blend of music and festivity, designed to kindle the true spirit of Christmas.

Following the performance, you’ll return to Le Manoir for a four-course festive dinner, exquisitely crafted by Raymond Blanc’s masterful team. A lavender scented footpath paves the way for this spectacular culinary event. Described as ‘a twist of imaginative genius’, Raymond Blanc’s vision for Le Manoir has always been one of world-class gastronomic flair and outstanding organic produce. Stepping under the French and British flags at the front door you will be warmly welcomed and invited to take your seat for a festive feast like no other. Expect dishes that honour the season’s bounty: perhaps roasted pheasant with chestnuts and winter truffles, or a velvety chocolate Yule log infused with spiced orange—each paired with a curated selection of fine wines, tea, coffee, and petit fours.

The Carol Concert and Dinner event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 6pm to 11.30pm. The evening opens in suitably festive style with a champagne reception, followed by the performance, and dinner concluding the evening. Priced at £340 per person (exclusive of accommodation), places to this celebratory black tie event are booked in pairs, with numbers strictly limited. We’ve secured a preferential allocation for CountryClubuk Members—but please don’t delay!

Luxurious accommodation in a Deluxe Double room. Full English breakfast the following morning, featuring Blanc’s signature organic produce from the on-site kitchen garden—think poached eggs with heritage tomatoes and wild mushrooms foraged from the Oxfordshire hills.

Exclusive Member rate for the full Christmas Carols event including the night’s stay: £862.50 per person for two sharing (double occupancy), an excellent saving on standard festive rates, subject to availability.
