White Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the Rhône’s great rarities, accounting for barely seven per cent of the appellation’s production.
Les Galimardes is rarer still: a single-vineyard wine from a tiny parcel of old vines rooted in classic galets roulés and clay-limestone soils.
A blend of Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Bourboulenc produces a suave, exuberant wine of real presence—full yet fresh, with honeyed stone fruit, white flowers, fine mineral freshness and a silky texture.

Domaine Giraud’s Les Galimardes Blanc 2024 is an outstanding example of the style. Crafted from Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Bourboulenc, it displays beautifully expressive aromas of white peach, citrus blossom and gentle Mediterranean herbs, supported by impressive texture, mineral freshness and a long, elegant finish.
It is a wine equally at home alongside fine seafood, lobster, turbot, roast chicken or creamy mushroom dishes, while its balance and structure also reward careful cellaring.
