Bonarda from Argentina is not the same as Italian Bonarda. It’s the French grape, Douce Noir—a fresher Malbec with less tannin—and Bodega Colomé is a distinguished, top-class producer.

Awarding their Silver Medal, the Decanter judges note: ‘Concentrated and generous jammy fruit nuances on the nose. Fine grained, appealing tannins, with a fresh acidity supporting the fruit.’
