Fine tailoring and beautiful pure wool tweed from a famous English mill combine to spectacular effect in this exceptional new coat, just arrived from our English tailors.

It’s a most attractive blue-grey tweed with navy window pane check and fine subtle lines of pink and magenta in the tweed, creating an extremely smart and stylish look, really flattering, and with a contemporary feel. It is beautifully spun by world famous Mallalieus, established in 1863 and still producing the highest quality wool tweed at Valley Mill in Delph, Lancashire, one of the last UK ‘vertical’ mills where natural raw fibre is converted into beautiful fabrics and accessories.

The tailors are another old-established English company, Gurteen, established in Suffolk in 1784 and still tailoring fine English garments with an eye to classic qualities which transcend time and work beautifully for the modern man.

So while the quality of this coat is excellent, it is also remarkably versatile, easily bridging the gap between formal and smart-casual. It looks great over a suit for racing, dinner date or business meeting, even a winter wedding, and for casual days and nights it will add a serious style upgrade to smart jeans and a polo, open-neck shirt or a jumper.
