When wild, fresh yellowfin tuna is described as ‘sashimi grade’, it indicates that it is of a quality suitable to be eaten raw—which is why this is the tuna flown direct from Sri Lanka to the UK each week for many leading restaurant and Michelin-starred kitchens to prepare their cooked tuna dishes as well as sushi and sashimi—and why we are delighted now to bring it to Members.

Whole wild, rod-and-line-caught yellowfin are landed in Sri Lanka and flown immediately to the UK, preserving their exceptional freshness. Each beautifully trimmed, skinless centre-cut loin is vacuum packed, prepared ready to slice and serve as sashimi or sushi, or quickly sear or bake. It makes a wonderful barbecue or party highlight—a single loin can serve 15-20 as a main course, many more if serving as sushi or sashimi of course!

Taken from the thickest and most consistent part of the fish, the centre cut is prized by professional chefs for its beautifully even texture and wonderfully clean flavour.

Each loin weighs approximately 3kg, making it ideal for entertaining, family gatherings or dividing into portions for future meals.
