This Border Terrier is a dapper chap who will do you the excellent service of holding open your door without the merest hint of chasing the neighbour’s cat. He is a doorstop of distinction—everybody, young and less so, loves this fine fellow with his handsome face and helpful attitude.

Designed by Angela Stevens, founder of Dora Designs, this is a gentleman Border to the manner born. Like most of his ilk, he is hard as nails yet, as all Border aficionados know, rather more sensible than most terriers. His expression is alert and ready to please—so much so that he will stay wherever you put him, whether holding open the drawing room door, or generally improving the view on chairs and sofas. This happy fellow adds genial character and life to living room, study or bedroom—and of course he sets the perfect scene for any terrier-orientated or hunting home.

Beautifully, and solidly made in smart boucle with a studded collar, he is filled with quartz sand to give the necessary weight to carry out his effective primary role as a doorstop. Height, 30cm (about 1ft). Weight 1.27kg.
