‘Best value wine in the world’, says connoisseur Robert M Parker Jr of Domaine d’Andezon by Les Vignerons d’Estézargues: superb Club price, case of 12 bottles delivered

£169.00

Domaine d’Andezon has been hailed repeatedly by the illustrious and influential wine critic Robert M Parker Jr as one of the best value wines in the world. There can be no higher accolade. This Côtes du Rhone is a gem. It is the most famous wine from one of the world’s best co-operative wineries, Les Vignerons d’Estézargues.

Full-bodied, powerful and rich, it has plenty of dark fruit flavours and complexity coming from the harvest of a single estate, Syrah 90%, Grenache 10%. It shows that complex, savoury, chocolatey, iron rich, depth of flavour one would associate with far more expensive wines. It is one of those wines which punches well above it weight and shows the depth and fruit to become one of our favourite big steak reds.

This, the 2021 vintage, is already drinking beautifully, and can be cellared for up to five years. Listed at Fortnum and Mason Bar, 45 Jermyn St, The Gilbert Scott, Tamarind, Hawksmoor and Noble Rot. Case of 12 bottles.

RRP £228. CCUK £169 including UK mainland delivery.
