From one of Burgundy’s great domaines, Mongeard-Mugneret Savigny-Les-Beaune 2019: On the list at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester: Excellent value for Members, saving £100 per case of six bottles delivered

£269.00

One of Burgundy’s premier domaines, Mongeard-Mugneret’s Savigny-Les-Beaune is made using 100% Pinot Noir grown in 33 hectares of carefully managed vineyards across Burgundy. This 2019 vintage is excellent—it is currently on the wine list in the three Michelin Star restaurant Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester among others.

It is a deep ruby red with expressive red fruit aromas on the nose with notes of cherries, strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, the tannins are silky and elegant with a lovely balance between acidity and fruit. This is an elegant wine, powerful, and with plenty of ageing potential.

Pairs beautifully with young grouse, wood pigeon, partridge, duck, goose, roe venison, suckling pig and turkey.

Case of six bottles. RRP £369. CCUK £269 including UK mainland delivery (courier surcharge for Highlands and Islands).
