Great berry and plum fruits leap from the glass in our chosen port, the 2011 Vintage Port Quinta da Romaneira, Douro. The wine has a solid structure, a ripe character and a delicious balance between great fruit and acidity. Several important critics have rated this Vintage Port wine highly: Wine Spectator recently gave the 2011 vintage a score of 95 out of 100 and Decanter scored 95 points. The International Wine Challenge awarded the 2008 vintage the Gold Medal.
