The new Viyella cotton and merino wool shirts are just arriving, and these two handsome shirts are the new colours in our Members’ favourite styles. They feel great and looks good alone and with a sweater on a smart shoot, and you can dress them up with a blazer and tie when duty calls. The smooth, soft cloth is Viyella’s original blend of 80% long staple cotton with 20% merino wool. They invented this beautiful fabric in 1894, and though many shirtmakers imitate it, none can match it.
In fact, these shirts are part of British history, and could easily cost three times the price. They are the finest autumn-winter shirt for quality, appearance, softness, durability and of course warmth. It is well said that the only thing better than a new Viyella shirt is an old Viyella shirt. It carries the hallmarks of its excellent tailoring, including matching checks on breast pocket, placket and side seams, substantial linings to make a good firm collar and cuffs, and contrasting checks on the yoke.
Usually they sell for about £65, but through our special Club arrangement with Viyella our Members have an exclusive advantageous price of £39 including delivery to your door. Collar sizes are 15-18in (including half sizes).
Choose from three super colours and styles: Small check in wine, navy and sand (top); medium check in blue, fawn and wine (centre); and wide check in fawn, brown and navy (lower). All have adjustable sleeve buttons. Collar sizes are 15-18in (including half sizes).
