Gurteen Heritage Collection: best price for this smart tailored jacket in pure wool tweed from world famous Abraham Moon of Yorkshire—with a nod to Ralph Lauren: elegant shades of brown with spice overcheck: 40in regular

£109.00

The expertly woven English tweed in this new classic tailored jacket is extremely handsome and creates a beautiful jacket. It is made in Yorkshire by the traditional weavers Abraham Moon of Guiseley (established in 1837), who make their tweed for major international brands including Burberry, Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren.

It is a lovely smooth English wool tweed, woven in beautiful brown shades, with a subtle overcheck of spice, which is not prominent, simply adding extra distinction to the tweed.

A man can’t have too many such jackets, and this has personality and style—it is elegant, soft and comfortable, and beautifully tailored by Gurteen, English tailors since 1784. It is part of their Heritage Collection. No surprise then that it hangs beautifully and boasts an exceptional and flattering fit.

In traditional British single-breasted two-button style, it is flatteringly cut and has two side vents, angled front pockets, flapped and jetted, an extra flapped and jetted ticket pocket, slanted breast pocket and four-button cuffs. There are three interior pockets, one buttoned for security, within a smart silky lining.

It is exceptionally versatile, looking good with many colours—co-ordinating with browns and fawns, navy and most blues, as well as many shades of grey, and looking super smart with reds, including claret and burgundy
