This beautifully tailored new jacket is handsome indeed. From the new Cockfied collection, it is expertly cut in a luxurious tweed by our excellent English tailors Gurteen, a superb example of their excellent eye for classic yet contemporary style in pure wool cloth.

It’s a gorgeous moorland shade of dark green with a shading of bracken, subtle and flattering, with discreet fine windowpane checks in chestnut and navy. As such it is very versatile, looking good with many colours, from reds, burgundy and browns to navy, greens, golds and fawn, for smart occasions with waistcoat, collar and tie as here, or casual with open-neck shirt.

The result is an undeniably elegant and masculine premium quality jacket, the perfect look and weight for autumn and winter. It is well cut in classic two-button style, single-breasted with slant front pockets and smart ticket pocket, flapped and jetted, a slant breast pocket and notched lapels. It has side vents and a four-button cuff. It has four internal pockets in the smart burgundy lining, so you can stash your keys, wallet and mobile with ease.

It is from Gurteen’s Esquire range and comes in three fittings and the following chest sizes: Regular in 38-50in, short in 40-46in, long in 42-46in.
