All-time favourite: Smart, warm, handwoven pure wool Donegal tweed tailored overcoat, the Corrib: Members save over £240

£517.00 £269.00

This is a really high-class country overcoat. Costing over £500 in shops and online, it looks made-to-measure, it will not date, it is soft and thick and as warm as a built-in stove, it will last a lifetime, and it seems to suit every man who wears it.

Named Corrib, after the famous lough with its spotted wild trout, the herringbone tweed cloth has all the lough’s muted colours: dark brown and a faint hint of green, beige and blue in the mix. The Corrib overcoat is made by our Irish tailors, Magee, well cut from their own woven winter-weight wool herringbone tweed (560g, or just under 20oz), in that simple classic raglan style which gives plenty of room for a jacket underneath, yet looks streamlined and non-bulky.

This is a real man’s coat, straight cut and with all the tailoring details of smart collar buttoning to the neck for warmth (no open revere to let in the wind), concealed front buttons, a single rear vent for movement, two roomy side pockets to keep your hands warm and, within the heavy gold satin lining, three interior pockets, one buttoned for wallet and valuables.

This classy overcoat is a real investment buy even at £500 or more—but through the Club our Members save over £240, including free delivery to the door. Sizes 38in to 50in chest in regular fitting.

RRP £517. CCUK £269. Free UK mainland delivery.
