Sea-fresh live lobsters for a gourmet feast: six lobsters, minimum 550g each (total 3.3kg)


Now is the perfect time to enjoy a delicious, succulent lobster feast. Live wild Canadian (Maine) lobsters (Homarus Americanus) are superb, and they are flown in fresh each day. The Canadians are known for having a sweeter flavour than our native lobsters. Our Tasting Panel were so wowed during the recent tasting that they were glowing in their praise. They are sweet, ultra-fresh, succulent and tender—and so easy to cook that when you have tried them you will never want to order a pre-cooked lobster again.
These wild lobsters are caught by traditional lobster fishermen off the north-east coast of North America and flown straight to our suppliers for the UK’s Michelin-star chefs, top hotels—and now, happily, for our Members, who not only benefit from the highest quality but also from the Club’s chefs’ price.
They are simple to prepare: bring 4.5 litres of salted water to a vigorous boil and cook for around 11 minutes. Allow to cool in the basin, then crack open and enjoy the fresh taste. You can create any kind of grand dish, but there is no need to do anything but serve fresh from the pan with a butter sauce for a gourmet dinner.
Weights are 550g to 600g, each lobster making a generous main course for one. Our suppliers deliver them in refrigerated vans direct to your door (sadly, not all postcodes, so please check before ordering).
