Enchanting new Tanzanite, Diamond and 18ct White Gold Ring from London’s Hatton Garden
This romantic new ring from London’s Hatton Garden showcases a Princess-Cut Solitaire Tanzanite highlighted by two rows of sparkling channel-set Diamonds. It is elegant, subtle, and so captivating!
Poised between lush blue and vibrant violet, the exotic tanzanite is found in only one place on earth, near Mount Kilimanjaro. Tiffany & Co of New York named this blue-violet gemstone in honour of Tanzania, where it was first discovered in 1967—and where some expect it to be mined out in the not too distant future. Because the crystals show different colours depending on the viewing direction, cutters can fashion gems with a range of colour from violetish blue to bluish violet—which is where in the spectrum this elegant gemstone lies.
The designer has chosen a stunning natural tanzanite of .73-carats and diamonds of .28 carats to create this bewitching contemporary and timeless ring, featuring the classic V-shaped setting which allows it to sparkle to its brilliant best, and channel-set diamonds lining the band and highlighting the romantic colour of the stone.
At approximately 5.5mm by 5.9mm diameter, it has plenty of eye-catching style—and with an approximately 2.5mm diameter band of 18ct white gold, it suits a smaller hand.
RRP £2,880. CCUK £1,195.
