The new Omersa Lincolnshire Hare, a collector’s item leather animal, handmade in England by these world famous craftsmen: Standard size

Omersa have created leather animals since 1927 when ‘Old Bill’ made the first Yorkshire Pig for Liberty of London and launched a leather heritage that has become legendary. A new animal is a rare and welcome sight—and we are thrilled to see this new animal appear on the Omersa scene—the Lincolnshire Hare.

The Hare looks wonderful—and a collector’s item if ever there was one. The character is inspired by the wild hares which run and box in the open fields of the Fens, the beautiful English landscape surrounding the Omersa workshop.

To celebrate this exciting new launch, Omersa have numbered the first 25 Hares with the number stitched on to the base, making each piece one to treasure even more. But all are handmade in the Lincolnshire studios, the leather chosen, cut, stained and polished all by hand so that each Hare emerges as an individual character.

The Hare is Omersa’s Standard size: 460×330×650mm (750mm when ears are extended). Weight: 4kg.
