Celebrate iconic English Spode’s 250th Anniversary with new Limited Editions: Black Italian Two Mugs and Two Gold Spoons Set
Spode is a great British institution, and its limited edition ceramics are collector’s items which are prized worldwide. The founder, Josiah Spode, developed the formula for fine bone china in the 1700s, and the company—the oldest English pottery—remains at the forefront today. With the help of Spode, we have chosen particularly fine Limited Edition pieces for our Members from the collection created to celebrate Spode’s 250th anniversary on May 8, 2020—which is of course also the 75th anniversary of VE Day, giving further reason to celebrate.
Spode Black Italian was first produced in 1954 and has been brought back in 2020 as a 250th Anniversary Limited Edition. These striking black and white anniversary pieces in the iconic Italian design are designed and made in Spode’s workshops in Stoke-on-Trent, just 500 yards from the original Spode.
The Limited Edition set of two mugs and two brushed gold spoons both strike the perfect pose. They are the ultimate style statement from Spode, established in 1770 and still made by artisans in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
Mug capacity is 12 fl oz. Dishwasher and microwave safe (spoons dishwasher safe only). Presented in a striking Spode 250th Anniversary gift box.
