The upper is a three-layer polyester with ultimate breathability (almost double that of most brands) and hydrostatic pressure (waterproofing) of 15,000 mm. Then, from the waist down, the Geo-5 uses top-grade, high-density polyester taffeta—a heavy-duty, five-layer construction with two breathable membranes sandwiched inbetween. This new grade of material is about as thorn-proof as it is possible to get without sacrificing breathability.
They are also supremely comfortable, with seams running up the front and back of the leg to avoid all possible chafe. The articulated legs have a natural curve for greater comfort and freedom of movement, without having need for pleats and seams. The waterproof zip is the latest, top-quality German TiZip, which is simply the best available, and the waders have fully adjustable braces, a rear neoprene yoke to spread the load and an adjustable neoprene wading belt, fleece-lined hand warmer pockets, ergonomically designed socks for closer fit, with high density sole panel and welded front pockets.
They might not catch more salmon—but they will make you look and feel good whatever the conditions!
